Story Videos

I am finding lots of stories on videos to share. Of course, this does not take the place of finding a quiet place to snuggle up with a book and your child. I view this as a short time that they can listen to a story or even follow along with it if they own the book. Your child will begin to learn stories through repetition and will think they are reading before they actually are. Listening to stories gets your child ready for reading. Let your child pick out a book and "read" it to you by looking at the pictures and making up their own words.
