Some playdough ought to entertain you....no one is too old to play with play dough! Get out those cookie cutters! A batch of this will still keep my kids occupied for at least an hour! Want to add some secret learning? Sort creations into sizes, small and large. Make rows of patterns....circle, square, circle, square. Make a bird's nest, roll small eggs and count the eggs. Be creative!
Traditional play dough recipe:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
1 tsp. cream of tarter
1 T oil
1 c. water
food coloring
Mix all dry ingredients in a large saucepan. Add liquid ingredients and mix well. Turn on heat to medium and continue stirring. Remove from pan when dough sticks together. Knead....then start playing!
